Jason Berger

Entrepreneur & Business Owner

Jason Berger lives the struggles of a leadership team every day.  Founder and manager of 12 different businesses – five still active reaching revenues above eight figures, others valuable learning experiences – Jason leverages the brilliance of EOS® in each to drive vision, honesty and accountability.

While President of Iowa’s Entrepreneurs Organization, inspired by his experience and success as an entrepreneur, Jason gave back to the community by founding the EO Iowa Fellowship Program.  Here, young entrepreneurs learn how to launch their startups, leveraging EOS® processes and tools from lift-off to greater heights in the market.  The success of that program quickly earned the attention of established business owners seeking his expertise as an EOS® Implementer – and ExperienceNext! was born.

“One of the keys to EOS® is delegation, and that insight changed my business life,” says Jason.  “I enjoy coaching leadership teams, and in a reciprocal way get back so much energy from watching those teams succeed.  Yet even more, I learn something new with every coaching session.  The ‘big epiphany’ was during an all-day coaching session and a critical issue came up in my biggest business. My team handled it in a way that I would not have, and their solution yielded such better results than mine. As a business executive, that confirmed a valuable lesson supported by the practice of EOS®: when you have good people doing good work, stay out of their way! Spending time coaching helps me do that.”

Jason was in the inaugural cohort of Goldman Sachs 10,000 Small Businesses Initiative conducted at Babson College in Wellesley, Massachusetts. He serves on several non-profit boards including the advisory board for Drake University’s Entrepreneurial Program.
